Early in 1957, six physicians determined they could provide quality medical care by combining their practices. As a result, the Hammond Clinic began operations on February 4, 1957. The Clinic was originally located in a leased building at 6850 Hohman Avenue in Hammond.
In 1961, the Clinic moved to its current location at 7905 Calumet Avenue in Munster. As the population began to grow in southern Lake County, the Hammond Clinic opened its St. John facility in 1994. January of 1999 saw the addition of the Hammond Clinic's Family Wellness Center. |

This new facility allowed the Clinic to consolidate the Pediatric, Family Practice, and Obstetrics and Gynecology practices into one facility.
Today the Hammond Clinic supports a staff of nearly 500 employees and physicians to serve you.
