Find out if you are at risk for osteoporosis by attending this seminar with nurse practitioner, Pat Konvalinka. She will discuss risk factors, prevention, and treatment options of osteoporosis. Screening is FREE if you attend the seminar and $10 if you do not attend the presentation. Seminar begins at 4:30 p.m. with screenings to follow until 6:00 p.m. Women who have the screening must be at least 45 years old, or menopausal, or have had previous fractures and cannot be pregnant. Men must be over 65 years old to have the bone density screening.

The Hammond Clinic nursing staff will conduct free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings at Walgreen`s located at 770 Joliet Street in Dyer (Corner of Route 30 & Calumet Avenue). No appointment is necessary. Screenings will be done from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. We hope to see your there!
