Effective January 3rd, 2012 - The Occupational Medicine department will officially become a WorkingWell Facility.

This transition will be completed as of January 3rd, 2012.   The new name will be WorkingWell at Franciscan Hammond Clinic.  Some changes you will expect to see are signage, extended programs, enhanced billing, and additional resources through our system that is available to you.  We will also be adding an additional Physician and staff to enhance our service line.

Welcome Three New Physicians

The Franciscan Hammond Clinic would like to welcome three new physicians to our practice.  Dr. Nikhil Pandhi and Dr. John Pomponi joined the Orthopedic Surgery department in September. Dr. Jovenel Cherenfant joined the General Surgery department in October. Their schedules are open for appointments, so call and schedule your next visit today. The Next Generation of Healthcare has arrived!

Flu Shots

Beginning September 1st, flu shots will be available at all three Franciscan Hammond Clinic locations. We have pediatric through adult vaccinations on hand. No appointment is necessary and you do not need to be a Franciscan Hammond Clinic patient to receive the flu vaccination. Take the steps to fight this common and harmful virus. Do it for yourself, your family, and your co-workers.

Hammond Clinic Sleep Disorders Center recently received program accreditation from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM)

To receive a five-year accreditation, a sleep center must meet or exceed all standards for professional health care as designated by the AASM. The accreditation process involves detailed inspection of a center’s facility and staff, including an evaluation of testing procedures, patient contacts, and physician training. Remodeling

It is the Hammond Clinic’s goal to make every patient visit a positive one.  We do not only want you and your family to get the best possible care, but we also want you to be surrounded by a pleasant and relaxing environment.  The Hammond Clinic has remodeled its second and third floors in order to surround you with a more contemporary atmosphere.  Everything from the floor to the ceilings, from waiting rooms to patient rooms has been remodeled.  Make an appointment and check it out for yourself!

Patient Outreach Program

Sometimes we all get a little busy and forget about when we are supposed to make our next doctor’s appointment.  Appointments such as our yearly check up or something more serious such as diabetes follow-ups can slip our minds. The Hammond Clinic, however, has an answer to this problem.  We have implemented a brand new patient outreach program to better serve our patients.  The program searches through the patient database and can determine which patients have not scheduled their appropriate appointment in the recommended amount of time.  The patient is then contacted to remind them that it is time for that visit.  Everything from yearly physicals to chronic conditions is included in the program.  It is important for you and you family’s health and well-being to have up to date care.  The best way to prevent complications and manage your health is through recommended visits with your provider!
